The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at BAMTH provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from injury, surgery, neurological conditions, orthopaedic problems and chronic pain. Our team of qualified physiotherapists uses evidence-based techniques to help patients regain strength, mobility and independence.

• Post-surgical rehabilitation — orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac
• Stroke rehabilitation — motor and functional recovery
• Spinal rehabilitation — low back pain, disc problems, post-spinal surgery recovery
• Orthopedic physiotherapy — fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries, tendinopathies
• Neurological physiotherapy — Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy
• Paediatric physiotherapy
• Chest physiotherapy — for respiratory patients and post-ICU recovery
• Musculoskeletal conditions — neck pain, shoulder disorders, knee pain, plantar fasciitis
• Manual therapy and joint mobilization
• Electrotherapy — TENS, ultrasound therapy, laser therapy, IFT
• Hydrotherapy (where available)
• Gait training and mobility aids
• Patient and carer education

As part of BAMTH's social welfare initiatives, free physiotherapy and rehabilitation services are provided to deserving patients through our charity programs.
