The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at BAMTH supports patient health and recovery through expert nutritional assessment, counselling and therapeutic dietary management. Our registered dietitians work alongside physicians, surgeons and other healthcare professionals to optimize the nutritional status of patients across all departments

- Therapeutic diet planning for diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, heart disease, obesity, and cancer
- Enteral (tube) nutrition support in ICU and ward patients
- Parenteral (IV) nutrition support in critically ill patients
- Weight management counselling — obesity and undernutrition
- Management of eating disorders in coordination with Psychiatry
- Paediatric nutrition — growth faltering, malnutrition, infant feeding
- Pre- and post-operative nutritional optimization
- Nutritional counselling for maternity patients
- Community nutrition education and health promotion
