The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at BAMTH provides a full spectrum of care for women's reproductive health — from routine antenatal check-ups and safe deliveries to the management of complex gynaecological conditions and fertility concerns. • Antenatal care and monitoring throughout pregnancy
• High-risk pregnancy management
• Normal and operative deliveries (vaginal and caesarean section)
• Management of obstetric emergencies — haemorrhage, eclampsia, obstructed labour
• Postnatal care and breastfeeding support
• Neonatal care in coordination with Paediatrics
• Family planning and contraception counselling

• Management of menstrual disorders, PCOS, and hormonal imbalances
• Diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and endometriosis
• Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) management
• Cervical cancer screening (Pap smear)
• Colposcopy and minor gynaecological procedures
• Hysterectomy and other major gynaecological surgeries
• Laparoscopic gynaecological procedures
• Urinary incontinence management
